Herlene Budol is one of the most high-profile contestants at the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant tonight, July 13.

On Instagram, Herlene admitted that she has been feeling extremely nervous about the pageant and its outcome. She has also been anxious about the possibility of people criticizing her performance at the pageant. For this reason, Herlene is just leaving everything up to God.

She then expressed her appreciation for Wilbert Tolentino, her manager, who she described as her “Mima” who is always there for her. She also thanked Madam Inutz for always giving her valuable pieces of advice.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. She was the first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

In the video, one of the judges asked her if aside from her huge following on social media, what else does she think will get her the crown. Herlene had the judge repeat the question, which prompted the latter to repeat it, but this time around, in Tagalog. The beauty queen then answered with a mixture of English and Tagalog.
