Lolit Solis, in an Instagram post, revealed that early showbiz writers have somewhat a snobbish and snotty attitude.

She expressed gratitude to fellow veteran writers, Douglas Quijano and Bibsy Carballo, for being there to help her when she was just starting out.

“Nuon bagong pasok ako sa showbiz hindi siguro ako nag survive kung wala sila Douglas Quijano at Bibsy Carballo,” Manay Lolit said.

“Parang sila naging sponsor ko para matanggap ako ng mga naunang showbiz writers na may pagka snobbish at maldita,” the veteran showbiz columnist added.

She also underscored the importance of having the right circle of friends so one would feel alright in whatever showbiz work he or she would be undertaking.

“Kaya nuon pa alam ko na importante ang circle of friends para maging maayos ang lagay mo sa anuman trabaho,” she said.

The veteran columnist also gave her advice to those who are in the same line of job as hers.

“Never doubt yourself, ikaw mismo dapat alam mo kung ano kaya mo,” the columnist said.

Manay Lolit said she was very lucky to have grown under the tutelage of Mother Lily of Regal Films.

In the second section of her two-part post, Manay Lolit expressed her wish that Nay Cristy would act as a guide to Paolo. She also stated her belief about the intention of Nay Cristy in going after her “alaga.” In the middle of her post, Manay Lolit expressed readiness in fighting for Paolo, anywhere and anytime.
