After seeing the "napakabonggang" wedding ceremony of Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia at Balesin Island, many have come to wonder what the cost of such a grand celebration actually is.

Well, not everyone gets to wed at this luxurious haven. Aside from Billy and Coleen, those who were able to successfully pull off a Balesin wedding include Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero, as well as Christine Reyes and Ali Khatibi.

Obviously, aside from the love, the throng of aristocratic friends, these couples have one thing in common - they have the "millions" of budget for a Balesin wedding.

KAMI saw that one could easily spend close to P9 million to be able to have a wedding ceremony at this grand island with all the other "what-have-yous" like gowns, makeup etc.

Remember that the island is a 500-hectare members only luxury resort offering "exclusivity" to many.

Here's the breakdown of a Balesin wedding as reported by PEP. You may want to seriously consider it if you want to say your vows with the beauty of the sea behind you.

First, you need to be a member of the club and you need P2.5 million to become a gold member.

For flights, P2,240,000 will be spent. The club has its own planes that would fly the guests, and the fare per guest is at P8,960.

The villas would require P2,301,600. The resort would charge P22,400 one nigh for one villa, and a party of 250 guests would require 63 villas. A bonus here is when you book 21 or more villas, which would reduce the rate to P16,800.

Meals and drinks would require one to shell out around P1,832,000 considering that a nice brunch would cost P873.60 per guest, while dinner is at P1,545.60 per plate.

For the ceremony and reception venues, there are 11 venues with varying rates. The Balesin Chapel costs P8,960 while other venues cost P16,800. Bu the Royal Balesin Villa is around P84,000 but allows you 4 hours of use.

You also have to consider material transport and manpower, which could run up to P154,784. The room rates for manpower assigned. An events planner having a staff of five, the rate is at P14,784.

That's just what you would be spending at the venue, now you still have to think about the gown, the suit, hair and makeup, and the professional fees.

A bridal gown by Israeli designer Galia Lahav starts at a whopping P300,000.

The groom's suit or tux by Edwin Tan could cost P45,000.

There's also the wedding planner La Belle Fette Weddings, packages of which can cost up to P150,000.

Of course, the event stylist like Gideon Hermosa can charge a whole package at P300,000.

Full wedding packages of photographers could be at P300,000 while quality videographers could be from P200,000 up.
