Moira Dela Torre received some accusations from her former friend, lyricist-composer Lolito Go.

Lolito accused Moira of not crediting him once for a song he co-wrote with her, for not being always truthful, and for not admitting her mistakes when it comes to her failed marriage with Jason Marvin Hernandez. Moira’s camp has denied Lolito’s accusations.

After his post trended, there were some talks online about the possibility of Moira’s attorney filing charges against Lolito for his claims against the music artist.

Lolito said that he is a person who does not get intimidated by legal actions as long as he is fighting for what he believes is right. According to Lolito, he is willing to face the music.

Furthermore, he clarified that if a person is sued, it does not necessarily mean that he is wrong or he is getting imprisoned.

“When someone is getting sued, it doesn't automatically mean they're wrong. When someone is getting sued, it doesn't automatically mean they're getting locked up. Anyone can sue. And I am not someone you can intimidate by legal actions. I am willing to face the music,” Lolito wrote.

He also sent a message to his bashers who have accused him of chasing clout. According to Lolito, he has a right to air his sentiments, to defend a person being falsely accused, and to shed light on smaller artists being preyed upon by bigger artists and corporations.

“clout chaser ako dahil lang I aired my sentiments? Di ko pwede ipagtanggol yung taong kinakawawa at binubugbog publicly? Di ko pwede ipagtanggol ang sarili ko for being shortchanged? For being preyed upon by bigger artists? Hindi ako pwedeng maging tinig ng maliliit na composers who are being stepped on and used for corporate gains ng iilan? I had already gone viral a thousand times fighting for other people's basic rights... Di ko kelangan ng clout,” Lolito posted.

Moira Dela Torre is one of the most popular and in-demand music artists in the Philippines. She rose to fame with her songs “Malaya” and “Titibo-Tibo.” Moira, a devout Christian, married singer Jason Marvin Hernandez on January 14, 2019. Last year, the famous singer and her husband Jason decided to part ways. Both Moira and Jason have requested privacy in such a difficult time.
