Sunshine Cruz, excited makasama sina Jodi: “Finally, hindi lang ako sa picture o flashback scene mapapanood”

Sunshine Cruz has expressed her excitement over a new opportunity to work with actress Jodi Sta. Maria in a TV series.

She then recalled several years back when she was also offered a guest role in a series that starred Jodi and Richard Yap as “Papa Chen.”

“Year 2012 is when I was offered to guest as the deceased wife of Papa Chen in 'Be Careful With My Heart',” Shine wrote.

The actress said that while she was already “semi-retired” back then, she just couldn’t say no to play the role of the wife of Papa Chen.

“Although I was “semi-retired” back then and focused on taking care of my children, I just couldn’t say no to play Mrs. Alexandra “Alex” Lim,” the actress said.

Shine then revealed that she was given another opportunity to guest alongside Papa Chen and Jodi (plus Gabbi Garcia and Joshua Garcia).

“Fast forward to 2023, I was given the opportunity to once again guest alongside Jodi and Papa Chen (+ Gabbi and Joshua!). This supposed “guest” character was later turned into one of the regular characters for this beautiful series ” Shine revealed.

She then expressed joy on finding out that it would no longer be seen on ly in a picture or flashback scene but in an actual setting.

“Finally, hindi nalang ako sa picture o flashback scene mapapanood. May eksena na ako this time with Papa Chen and Jodi! Grateful for this opportunity. Thank you GMA Network, ABS-CBN Entertainment and Viu ❤️,” Sunshine wrote.

Sunshine is a Filipina actress who is the former wife of Cesar Montano whom she has three children with – Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline & Angel Francheska. Sunshine also dated politician Macky Mathay but there are rumors that they have broken up already.

Shine recently took to Instagram and shared the Mother's Day cards that her children made for her. She showed the two cards, one from Sam and another from Angelina. Both shared the same sentiments when it comes to their mom, that she has made them into the person they are today. In the caption, Sunshine said that it is truly wonderful being a mother to her three kids.

The actress also previously took to IG and to share a happy photo of her, together with Cesar Montano and his present partner. She thanked both Cesar and his partner Kath Angeles for the Mother's Day flowers that they gave her. She said that Sam was really very happy to see both of them, including the girls. The actress then wished for more blessings for both Cesar and Kath.
