Alex Gonzaga got heavily bashed on social media after a video of her spreading cake frosting on a waiter’s face during her birthday party went viral.

On the ‘Wag Po, One PH’ program on News5, vlogger Toni Fowler shared her honest thoughts on Alex’s controversy.

According to Toni, Alex indeed made a mistake when she spread the frosting on the waiter’s face but that does not mean she is a bad person.

Toni explained that all people make mistakes and that Alex deserves to be forgiven and have the chance to become better.

“Hindi naman masama yung tao, nagkamali lang… Hindi ko sinasabing tama yung ginawa nya, mali pa rin, pero wag nating kalimutan na tao lang din siya at once ay napatawad din naman tayo,” she argued.

Furthermore, Toni speculated that Alex might have been drunk at the party.

“Ayaw ko rin i-validate na lasing lang si Alex pero lasing siya eh. Ako rin kasi pag lasing ako pagpasensyahan nyo na makulit ako. Pero ang mali ay mali. Pero bigyan natin sya ng pagkakataon na maitama," Toni said.

Toni also complained about people focusing on a person’s mistakes and forgetting all of the good that she has done.
