In the comments section of her post, many netizens criticized Donnalyn for being allegedly insensitive towards workers who struggle with the poor public transportation system in the country, being overworked, unfair compensation, workplace bullying, physical illnesses, and mental health issues.

He added that workers who are sad about going back to work do not mean they are ungrateful. Furthermore, he said that many workers feel sad about returning to their jobs because they barely survive with their low wages.

“Hindi ko to kilala pero paano umabot ng 16M followers yung ganito katanga?

“Hindi naman porket nalungkot ka ay hindi ka na grateful. Hindi ka kasi makakaramdam ng ‘saya’ kapag ang kinikita mo ay pang ‘survive’ lang sa pang araw araw. Basahin mo ulit para ma gets mo,” Rendon commented.
