Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She is a Kakampink and has been very vocal in supporting former Vice President Leni Robredo.
Pokwang shared lovely video clips of her Sunday with her children. She considers Sunday as her "junakis day," which means she would be devoting her time to her kids on such day. The mom said that it makes her happy to cook for her children. In the afternoon, they would be going to church, and for Pokie, it is a happy Sunday. Indeed, she has always been a family-oriented woman.
Pokwang’s latest post on her Twitter account is creating a buzz on social media. In her tweet, the comedienne seemed to remind someone about people in the past who fought for freedom. The Kapuso star also stressed "sana wag mo iwaglit yan sa puso at isip mo." Her post immediately garnered thousands of likes and retweets on the said social media site.
