Taking to her verified Instagram account @celeste_cortesi, the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder posted a text-only story addressing an ongoing issue that has circulated online. Opening with a pointed remark, Celeste wrote:

"The devil works hard but his pr team works harder 😂 Crazy how someone can literally do this while being pregnant and about to give birth. Please don’t believe everything you see online."

Without directly dropping names, Celeste stressed that a skewed version of events is being fed to the public to manipulate perceptions:

"There is a one-sided story being put out there that is completely disconnected from the full truth. Facts are being twisted, important context is being deliberately left out, and a narrative is being created to make one person look like the victim."

She explained that she previously chose to remain quiet to prevent personal heartbreak from becoming spectacle:

"I have stayed quiet about many things because I chose not to turn a private and painful situation into public entertainment."

Refusing to let her silence be used against her, Celeste firmly pushed back against attempts to reframe what transpired:

"That silence should never give anyone the freedom to rewrite history or publicly distort what I have experienced, especially during such a vulnerable time in my life."

She laid bare the heavy emotional toll the situation has taken on her well-being:

"What I have experienced has been deeply psychologically and emotionally damaging. I don’t know what I did to deserve any this but just always remember that one side of the story is a narrative, not the whole truth."

The cryptic statement quickly ignited chatter across social media platforms, with fans and observers expressing concern for the beauty queen and urging respect for her peace during her pregnancy.

Celeste Cortesi has an Italian father and a Filipina mother and spent much of her formative years living abroad before eventually moving to the Philippines to pursue her pageant ambitions. She entered the national pageant scene through Miss Earth Philippines in 2018 and later reached a major milestone by winning the Miss Universe Philippines crown in 2022, bringing her widespread recognition in the country.

She described their child as a blessing despite the changes in their relationship and acknowledged that medication and hormonal changes during her pregnancy affected her mood and behavior. Jonny also discussed the breakup, revealing that he had been planning to propose to Celeste before their relationship came to an end.

Meanwhile, Celeste Cortesi discussed the difficulty of finding the right CEO to lead her growing beauty company, ASUL. She admitted that handing responsibility for the business to someone new is challenging because she wants the person in the position to understand the brand thoroughly, including its direction and values.
