Pokwang, viral ang cryptic tweet ukol sa "mga naghirap na noon pa para sayo"

Pokwang’s latest Twitter post, which contains a cryptic message, is gaining the attention of many netizens.

In her tweet on Friday, Pokwang seemed to remind someone about people in the past who fought for freedom.

“Kaya ang gaang ng buhay mo ngayon, kaya ka malayang nakakasigaw ngayon kasi may mga naghirap na noon noon pa para sayo at sana wag mo iwaglit yan sa puso at isip mo.”

However, the Kapuso comedienne did not name who her post was for.

Furthermore, Pokwang's post immediately garnered thousands of likes and retweets in the said microblogging site

Marietta Subong or Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She is a Kakampink and has been very vocal in supporting former Vice President Leni Robredo.

Pokwang has recently confirmed her split with Lee O'Brian via an online post. On her Instagram account, the celebrity mom said she and Lee are better off as friends. According to Pokwang, she and her former partner actually ended on good terms. Needless to say, Pokwang said that her late mom, Gloria, serves as her inspiration for being a strong mother.

Pokwang then received negative comments despite the heartbreaking news of her and Lee O’Brian’s split. Cristy Fermin then reacted to remarks that what happened to Pokwang was "karma". The showbiz columnist urged the bashers to stop commenting such remarks. Nanay Cristy said Pokwang and Lee decided on this breakup themselves and “outside forces” had nothing to do with it.
