Cristy Fermin has taken to her online program “Showbiz Now Na!” to react to Julia Barretto’s much-talked-about love advice for her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Garcia.

It can be recalled that during Boy Abunda’s interview with her, Julia revealed that she and Joshua are on speaking terms.
She also shared that she once told the actor, “‘Wag ka munang maggi-girlfriend.”
Cristy then said that the actress drew flak because of the said advice.
“Kasi itong si Julia, nalaman niya na nakikipaglapit itong si Joshua sa isang player, sa isang magadang babae. Aba, kasabi-sabi, 'Wag ka muna mag-girlfriend, ayusin mo muna yung career mo. Basta, wag ka muna mag-girlfriend.'”
“Kaya nagagalit 'yung mga tao, 'Hoy, anong akala mo sa sarili mo? Madidiktahan mo si Joshua?' Nakapagsalita na nga si Joshua e, 'Ano 'to, ikaw lang ang may karapatan na makipagrelasyon?'”
Cristy’s co-host Morly Alinio then aired,"Baka naman ano, may gusto pa siya kay Joshua. Baka naman sabi niya, 'Antayin mo lang ako.’”
This prompted Nay Cristy to express her frank opinion on Julia’s romantic relationship with Gerald Anderson.
“Alam mo ako ah, sorry po ah, hindi ko nakikitang magtatagal talaga si Gerald at saka si Julia. Pinag-aralan na natin yan e, ang kasaysayan ni Gerald.”

Julia Barretto is a well-known Filipino actress, endorser, and vlogger. She is the daughter of Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla, a former couple.
