Angel Locsin, sa gitna ng "unofficial results": "Proud to have fought with you"

Angel Locsin took to Instagram and wrote a lengthy message to her fellow Leni volunteers, telling them how she witnessed the passion that they have given in the elections.
"To my fellow Leni volunteers, na-witness ko ang kakaibang passion na ibinigay natin sa eleksyong ito. I am proud to have fought with you to the very end."
She then encouraged everyone not to lose hope.
"Huwag kang manghina dahil ibinigay natin ang lahat…na walang pagaalinlangan. Hindi tayo naging madamot, itinaya ang pangalan at oras."

The actress then reiterated that everyone has fought the fight, even though how hard it was.
"Lumaban kahit mahirap para sa ating paniniwala at sa kapwa. Kahit imposible. Lumaban tayo hindi para sa isang tao, kundi para sa bayan. Kaya kahit matatapos na ang bilangan."
She then asked everyone to still choose the Philippines.
"Piliin pa rin natin ang bayan. Piliin pa rin natin ang Pilipinas. Patuloy tayong magpakita ng malasakit at kumilos para sa kapwa. Ipinagdarasal ko na darating rin ang araw na makikita natin ang Pilipinas na minimithi. Taas noo.
Salamat Mam Leni sa inspirasyon."
VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters, namely, Aika, Patricia, and Jillian.
In a previous report, VP Leni Robredo turned emotional when Vice Ganda sang Rosas on stage during the miting de avance in Makati. A zoomed-in video of VP Leni showed tears freely flowing down her cheeks. All the while, she was smiling and singing along. The miting de avance was the culmination of the 3-month campaign prior to the May 9 elections.
The crowd estimate at the miting de avance of VP Leni and Sen. Kiko in Naga as of 8:30 p.m. was at 306,000. This estimate was given by the Incident Management Team. Earlier, it was estimated to be at 210,000 at around 7:30 p.m., while before 6 p.m., it was estimated to be at 168,000. The Naga rally is considered the second biggest in number.
