Dani Barretto just took to social media to pen a sweet yet honest message for her mother, Marjorie Barretto, for this year's Mother's Day celebration.
On May 8, Sunday, KAMI learned that the celebrity mom posted two adorable selfies she recently took with her mom, Marjorie.
"I may come off as head-strong and independent to some people, but behind that is a woman who still and will always need her MOM," she began.

Netizens were then stunned when Dani apologized to her mother for being hard-headed and difficult back in the day.

"Mom, I’m sorry if it had to take me being a Mom to fully understand how hard headed & difficult I was to you growing up. I should’ve listened to you more, I should’ve appreciated you more. Hindi madaling maging magulang, lalo na kung mag-isa ka lang. We may not be perfect, but our heart’s are always in the right place, because you love us so well."
She then greeted Marjorie a Happy Mother's Day, thanking the latter for being in her life line and for being the family's "first line of defense."
"Happy Mother’s Day, Mommy! Thank you for being my life line, our first line of defense, and my confidant. I’d go crazy without you, mom! I love you! I love you! I love you @marjbarretto," she wrote.
