Rufa Mae Quinto has returned to the fold of GMA7 and is once again a Kapuso Network talent.
The actress started her showbiz career in 1996 at GMA Network in the now-defunct TV show, That’s Entertainment.
In a report over Chika Minute in GMA7’s “24 Oras,” the actress revealed she was also surprised when she was told that she’s now a Sparkle star.

For Rufa Mae, becoming a Sparkle star was like a welcome back gift to her for returning to her home network.
She said that her return as Kapuso star came at the right time.
“Laging sakto lahat ng pagbabalik ko. Nagka-management, nagkaroon ng back to GMA,” Rufa Mae said.
The actress also narrated that she grew up in GMA Network, adding that she portrayed various roles there in the past.
“Lumaki rin ako Rufa Mae ako sa GMA, lahat ginawa ko na diyan, magpakain sa buwaya na lang ang hindi,” the actress revealed.
Rufa Mae has acted out roles in sitcoms, became a host, a member of a gag show, a mermaid, and also has portrayed Darna in GMA7.
Rufa Mae Quinto-Magallanes is a Pinay actress and comedian. She also had TV hosting and recording stints. She was born on May 28, 1978. Rufa’s showbiz career started after securing a spot in That’s Entertainment in 1996.

The actress recently shared a heartbreaking update about her family. She shared with her followers that her brother named Vincent has passed away recently. According to the 43-year-old comedienne, she and her daughter even flew to the Philippines from the US as they mourn over Vincent’s demise. Celebrities like Jaya and Ogie Alcasid also sent condolences to Rufa Mae.
After the video showing the actress singing in a campaign rally for Senator Manny Pacquiao surfaced, Rufa Mae immediately trended on Twitter. Many were surprised in seeing her at the said rally because before that, she was also seen at the UniTeam rally of former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
