- Pinay actress Kim Rodriquez admitted that she has a suitor from New Zealand
- Kim said they are still on the getting-to-know stage with the non-showbiz guy
- She described her suitor as someone who has the same values of a Filipino man
Kapuso actress Kim Rodriguez excitedly revealed to public the current status of her heart.
KAMI learned that the Inday Will Always Love You star has a foreigner suitor whom she met when she was on a vacation in New Zealand.
Although Kim refused to publicize the name of the non-showbiz guy, she disclosed that they are still on the process of getting acquainted with each other.
"Non-showbiz siya. Foreigner siya and nasa getting-to-know-each-other stage pa lang kami," the actress shared in an interview with PEP.ph.
"Taga-New Zealand, pero half Kiwi-half Italian siya. Yung dad niya taga Italy, and then pumunta sila ng New Zealand at doon na sila nanirahan,” she added.
Kim gladly described her suitor as a tall and handsome gentleman who, for her, also encapsulates the values of a Filipino guy.
"Matangkad, maputi, guwapo, sobrang bait, at gentleman. Hindi katulad ng ibang mga foreigners na ang cold-cold, siya yung ugali niya, parang Pinoy din," the celebrity expressed.
According to the Kapuso star, she was also able to introduce her suitor to her mother who then agreed with their status.
"Yup, kilala na siya ng mommy ko. Okay naman sa kanya, mabait daw at may respeto,” Kim explained.
Si Mommy kasi, kung saan ako masaya, sinusuportahan niya ako. Basta sabi niya lang, pumili ako ng lalaki na hindi lang ako ang mamahalin, kung hindi pati pamilya ko," she added.
Kim, however, admitted the she still has no plans of giving her sweetest “yes” to the foreigner guy.
The actress said she wants to focus on her career first and hinted that she will give her “yes” at the right time.
"Wala pa kasi akong planong mag-boyfriend. Kasi gusto ko munang mag-focus sa career sa ngayon, sa family and sa business," she shared.
Born on August 14, 1994, Kim is a Filipino actress and model who is best known for her role as the woman with a twin snake in the television drama-fantasy series, Kakambal ni Eliana.
Aside from her active teleserye acting career, she was also able to star in several movies such as This Time I'll be Sweeter and Mga Mumunting Lihim where she was hailed as the New Movie Actress of the Year by PMPC Star Awards for Movies in 2013.
