Veteran showbiz columnist Nay Lolit Solis, in one of her IG posts, gave an unsolicited advice to actor Tom Rodriguez, essentially telling him to be strong after allegedly getting cheated in the business he entered.

She said that assuming what was reported about Tom getting cheated in a business venture is true, it would be very painful indeed to lose a huge chunk of his savings that he might have set aside after several years of hard work.

“Kung tutoo iyon nangyari kay Tom Rodriguez at sa naipon niyang pera, kawawa naman. Imagine mo na ang hirap mag ipon tapos mawawala lang dahil naloko ka,” Nay Lolit said.

“Ang sakit nuon para kay Tom Rodriguez. Ngayon pa naman na medyo matamlay ang trabaho saka pa mangyayari ito. Saka iyon hirap mo na maka ipon tapos mawawala lang dahil sa panloloko mas masakit pa,” she added.

Nay Lolit said what made it more painful is that he’s also having problems with his love life now.

“Masyadong masakit dahil nasabay pa sa personal niyang problema sa lovelife,” Nay Lolit said.

The veteran columnist then expressed hopes that Tom would be able to recover his money, even if just a portion of it.

“Sana naman magawan pa ng paraan na maibalik ang pera ni Tom kahit hindi buo, basta may mabalik lang,” the veteran columnist said.

She also hoped that the actor would be more circumspect in business ventures being proposed to him so things like this would not happen again.

“At next time maging maingat na siya sa anuman papasukin niyang negosyo para hindi na maulit ang ganitong pangyayari sa kanya. Sa ganitong pagkakataon, kailangan maging matibay si Tom. Basta matatapos din iyan at makakaya mo, pray ka lang,” Nay Lolit advised.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

In one of her posts, Nay Lolit admitted she has a deep crush on Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky. The Eastern European leader found himself thrust in the limelight after standing up to its powerful and mighty neighbor, Russia, which is led by Vladimir Putin. Nay Lolit said that Zelensky is the apple of her eyes at the moment because of his attributes. The veteran columnist even asked one of her closest associates to ensure she gets the spelling of Zelensky right.

Recently, the veteran columnist shared a sad news about the departure of Cristy Fermin, Nay Lolit's co-hosts, in "Take it per Minute, Me Ganun." Nay Lolit said that Cristy hinted about not being happy anymore with the things that happened on the show.
