Ogie Diaz, in the latest Showbiz Update, together with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs, discussed the how Karla Estrada was replaced by Regine Velasquez in the morning show Magandang Buhay.

The talent manager said that he feels that after the elections, Karla would be going back to the said show. However, he asked one of the questions, which many were wondering about.

"Feeling ko pagkatapos ng eleksyon babalik ulit si Karla, pero ‘yun lagi ang tanong. Paano kung nagustuhan na ng audience si Regine? Paano kung si Regine mismo nag-e-enjoy na? Paano kung ‘yung mga advertisers mas gusto si Regine kaysa kay Karla?" said Ogie.

Another question that they raised was whether it was true that the party list paid Karla a huge sum.

Ogie did not answer the question, but it was still Tita Jegs who answered his own question.

"Ayaw n’yo sagutin? Ako sasagot, ayon sa source ko malaki nga raw ang ibinayad ng party list kay momshie Karla. Magkapuwesto man o hindi as 3rd nominee.”

The celebrity who borrowed from Ogie blamed the COVID-19 pandemic for the lack of funds. After that experience, Ogie learned his lesson not to trust other people easily and to be extra careful with his money.

Ogie Diaz revealed to Dra. Vicki Belo that some of his children got bullied at their school years ago. His kids were teased by their classmates because their daddy is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. After learning about the bullying, Ogie talked to his kids and indirectly told them that he is indeed a gay man. The comedian also shared that his wife would not have gotten into a relationship with him if he was not gay.
