Cristy Fermin, hiniling sa madla na 'wag paglaruan' si Enchong Dee, klarong hindi nagtatago ang aktor

- She appealed for Enchong Dee, saying that if people can't pray for him, then at least stop making fun of him

- The veteran columnist said that the actor was not hiding and she believes that he will face this issue hounding him at present

- She also commended Enchong for voluntarily surrendering and for facing the problem fair and square

Cristy Fermin, in one of the recent episodes of "Cristy Ferminute," made an earnest appeal to the public with regards to the case of Enchong Dee.

She said that Enchong is not hiding and have in fact already made his voluntary surrender and posted bail.

However, she lamented how people can still bash or make fun of the situation of the actor.

The veteran columnist reiterated that it is not good to be happy or relish in the misery of others.

"Huwag naman po tayo ganun mga kapatid. Di po ba sinasabi po natin parati, hindi po natin ikinaliligaya ang pinagdadaanang hindi maganda ng ating kapwa. At hindi po natin ikinatutuwa ang misery ng ibang tao..." said Nay Cristy.

"Itigil na po natin yan... Napaka-unChristian po ng ganun," she added.

Her last appeal was if people could not pray for the actor, then simply stop making fun of his situation.

"Kung di man po natin ipanalangin si Enchong eh di huwag. Pero huwag na nating paglaruan."

Ernest Lorenzo Velasquez Dee, better known as Enchong Dee in the entertainment world, is a Pinoy actor, model, and swimming enthusiast. He was born on November 5, 1988 to Maria Theresa Diño Velasquez and Johnson Molina Dee in Naga, Camarines Sur.

Enchong Dee posted bail for the P1-billion cyber-libel case filed against him by DUMPER party list representative Claudine Bautista-Lim. He was released past 9 p.m. on January 31, as he posted for bail beyond the NBI’s office hours. The actor reportedly posted P48,000 bail so that he can be released from detention. A cyber-libel case against Enchong after he allegedly implied on social media Claudine used the DUMPER party list’s funds for her wedding last year.

He took a trip down memory lane when he toured his childhood hometown – Naga City. His face was filled with emotion as he told netizens it is the place where he began to dream about his future. The actor also showed the place where he lived before and the old pool where he trained as a swimmer. Enchong made the tour amid the looming cyberlibel case filed against him by DUMPER party-list representative Claudine Bautista-Lim.
