She became fast friends with Pauleen and was witness as love blossomed between her friend and bossing.

The former Eat Bulaga co-host was also on hand to witness the two tie the knot at the St. James The Great Parish Church in Alabang on January 30, 2016.

“How can I forget, the day my BFF married the man she loves,” Ruby began in her post on Instagram.

She then greeted both Pauleen and Vic, whom Ruby called her friend mentor, on their wedding anniversary.

“The man who is my friend mentor. Bossing @mzet28 and @pauleenlunasotto Happy Anniversary,” the former Eat Bulaga co-host further wrote.

Ruby also expressed how much she misses her two former Eat Bulaga co-hosts, and at the same time, telling them that she loves them.

“I love and miss you both to the moon and back,” Ruby wrote.

The former co-host left the Philippines’ longest-running noontime variety show last year to settle in the United States.

Ruby Rodriguez is a Pinay actress-comedienne and formerly, one of the co-hosts of “Eat Bulaga!,” the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines. She was born on January 10, 1966. Ruby began her professional career as a preschool teacher, though she later secured a role in the TV sitcom Okay ka, Fairy Ko! In 1991, she began appearing as one of the hosts of “Eat Bulaga!” She was 25 years old at the time and replaced Helen Vela who abruptly left the noontime show because of health reasons. Vela died a year later. In 2021, Ruby officially bid goodbye to the noontime show she co-hosted for 30 years to focus on taking care of her son, who has special needs, in the United States. At the moment, the former “Eat Bulaga!” co-host is working at the Philippine Consulate Office in Los Angeles, California.

Ruby recently received a heartfelt birthday message from her best friend, Pauleen Luna-Sotto. The latter is celebrating her birthday today, January 10, 2022, and she also received sweet birthday wishes from netizens. Furthermore, Pauleen's post for Ruby also elicited an adorable comment from Joey de Leon. Likewise, Joey wished Ruby a happy birthday with a hilarious remark that can be found in the comment section of Pauleen's IG post.

Pauleen, who called Ruby her BFF in her lengthy and touching message, posted the same on her Instagram account. Pauleen's IG post prompted numerous comments from netizens, who also wished Ruby a blissful birthday.
