- This was after he named the two as the persons responsible for the alleged missing election campaign funds of the elder Yllana
- Earlier, Anjo announced he is withdrawing his candidacy to be the representative of the 4th district of Camarines Sur because his campaign funds were supposedly taken by someone he trusted
- He later named them, in a now-deleted Facebook post, as Jomari and Abby, and declared his intention to file a case against the two

Bomboradyo News reported Anjo’s withdrawal of his candidacy to be Camarines Sur’s 4th district representative in mid-November of last year.
Among the reasons he cited was his lack of campaign funds.
Then, in the last few remaining days of 2021, Philstar reported Anjo’s disclosure about a person or persons close to him taking away the bulk of his campaign funds.

While he did not name at the time who the persons were, he did say that they are a romantic couple.
Recently, in a Facebook post, Anjo named the persons as his brother Jomari and his GF Abby.
The FB post has since then been deleted.
He also claimed in the same post that Jomari had denied his accusations, which is why he issued a challenge for the three of them to undergo a lie detector test.
In a report by Bandera citing the deleted FB post, Anjo was reported as saying that he wanted to prove who among them is telling the truth.
Jomari and Abby have yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
Andrés José Garchitorena Yllana Jr., more popularly known as Anjo Yllana, is a Filipino actor-comedian, television host and politician. In 2020, Anjo finally resigned from the show "Eat Bulaga" after 21 years due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Yllana accepted Net25's offer as the lead host of the UHF network's first noontime comedy-variety program, "Happy Time".
Talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz debunked rumors that Anjo Yllana is not a good father or a good provider. The columnist said that based on how he knew Anjo, he is not any of those being accused of him. Ogie then revealed that there were several times whenever Jacke Manzano, Anjo’s wife, would go out with friends to party at some bars, the actor would just patiently wait for her outside.
Anjo Yllana was seen in photos helping the people involved in a motorcycle-truck collision in Camarines Sur. The star advised motorcycle riders to be extra careful on the road to avoid these kinds of accidents. Furthermore, he thanked Governor Migz Villafuerte for responding quickly to the emergency. Netizens in the comments section of the viral pics praised Anjo for doing what he can to help.
