Both were Pinoy Big Brother housemates, and later became real life sweethearts, tying the knot in September of 2013.
Although they parted ways in 2016, Melai and Jason reconciled shortly after that and became more sweet to each other.
To celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary, Melai posted a TikTok video on her Instagram account along with her greeting that could make everyone smile.

“Happy 8th year sa ating wedding my Sweetypie, Ga, Papangstrolls , PapangStrict , PapangBu,PapangLove ,mahal , myLab pag di galit. Pero pag galit ??? , Jason , son, Huy, Ga** , pisti , buang, pssst. Anonymous . hahaha,” Melai wrote in her post.
She also jokingly described her husband as her best enemy who would prompt her to think of strategies on how to win.
“Happy 8th my lab ngayun di ako galit , hehehe Thank you sa love and hate natin sa isat isa ikaw ang aking best enemy forever , tlagang pag ikaw ang kalaban ko nagkakaroon ako ng planning and tactics kng paanu ako manalo sa laban , and it so exciting hahahahaha,” the actress-comedian and TV presenter said.
Clarifying that it was a joke, she then lovingly greeted Jason a happy anniversary and expressed gratitude they’re still going strong even though they would sometimes do crazy things.
“Char lang papang Love you Papang Happy Anniv sa atin , kahit buang buang tayu strong parin tayu basta si Lord ang number 1 sa relasyun natin my lab ha,” Melai said.

Melai Cantiveros is a prominent showbiz personality in the Philippines. She tied the knot with Jason Francisco on December 9, 2013, and they already have two children. Her morning talk show “Magandang Buhay” has been a steady hit for the Kapamilya network.
Last month, Melai bonded for the first time with Ruffa Gutierrez, Janice de Belen, and Bambbi Fuentes. The comedienne thought in the past that Ruffa was “hard to reach” but it turned out that she was a humble, authentic and funny person. She also thought before that Janice was an aloof person but it turned out that she was very talkative, sincere and joyful. Finally, Melai described makeup artist and hairstylist Bambbi Fuentes as a person with a good heart.
She previously also got the surprise of her life upon seeing the message written by her daughters on a piece of paper. In their message, they made a countdown of the days that their father is back home from work. They did not have the same message for their mom, causing Melai to be surprised and complain a bit.
