Romeo Librada, commonly known as Super Tekla, has stirred buzz on social media after recounting his experience of being accused as a thief.
On Saturday, October 16, KAMI learned that the 39-year-old-comedian took to Facebook to share his “mistaken identity” story.
According to Tekla, he was at 7-11’s E Road Branch to buy something when the saleslady suddenly accused him of stealing as he was about to pay.

In his online post, Tekla recalled how the lady accused him of taking something, which prompted him to ask if she was sure of her claims.

“Mistaken Identity 7-11 E Road Branch. I [was buying] something, hinarang ako ng [sales]lady after ko mabayaran yung binili ko. May kinuha daw [akong] item sabi ko, ‘Are you sure ate?’ Napahiya ako [ang] daming tao sabi niya kapkapan daw ako then sabi [ko] ‘go ahead’. Walang nakita sa akin, pina-check ko ang resibo ko kumpleto bayad at yung binili ko.”
Eventually, Tekla lowered his face mask, which prompted the saleslady to recognize him and cry afterwards.
“Binaba ko yung mask ko, na-recognize niya ako si Teklah, ‘Ate kinapkapan at pinagbintangan mo ako, ate. Tapos ngayon iiyak ka at nagso-sorry dahil nagkamali ka ganun lang kadali yun’. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Ang [swerte] mo ate mabait at maunawain ako, kung sa iba yun may paglalagyan ka. Sige ate palalagpasin ko ito [swerte] mo sakin ka natapat kung sa iba baka natanggal ka na’.”
At the end of his post, Tekla shared the lesson behind his story and why he chose to forgive the saleslady.
“Lesson [learned], wag manghusga sa panlabas na anyo siguraduhin mong tama ang ginagawa mo, [imbis] na magalit ako, awa [ang] nanaig sa puso ko. Di biro yung pagbintangan [kang] mananakaw pero sabi ko kung susundin ko ang galit ko, tanggal siya sa work. Inisip ko na [lang] yung good side. Sabi ko sa inyo in real life napagbibintangan ako, ayun abot langit pasalamat ni ate, inisip ko rin maraming umaasa sa kanya mas mainam ang magpatawad at unawa minsan sa sitwasyon. Share ko [lang] sa inyo, kakatawa pero sad reality.”
