Neri Naig Miranda, wife of Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, expressed her gratitude to Senator Kiko Pangilinan and his entire team after they responded generously to her request for assistance.

In a social media post, Neri recounted how she initially reached out to Kuya Renan Dalisay to ask whether Team Kiko had extra rice that could be added to the food supplies they were preparing to distribute to their household staff.
According to Neri, she only had to make one call before the assistance arrived in abundance the following day.
“Tumawag ako kay Kuya Renan para itanong kung may extra bigas ang Team Kiko na puwedeng pandagdag sa ipapamigay namin sa aming staff. Isang tawag lang.. kinabukasan, ang dami nang pinadala sa bahay. 🥹❤️”

Neri said they had already purchased rice for their staff, meaning the sacks sent by Team Kiko could be shared with other people who could benefit from them.
“May nabili na rin kaming bigas para sa staff namin, tapos yung mga pinadalang sako sako ng Team Kiko, i-share natin ang blessing sa iba,” she wrote.
The entrepreneur explained that their family decided to extend the assistance to senior citizens living in their area, as well as the people who collect their garbage and help keep their surroundings clean.
“Kaya ipapamahagi din namin ang mga bigas sa ilang senior citizens dito sa amin, pati na rin sa mga kumukuha ng basura sa amin na nagpapanatiling malinis sa aming paligid.”
The planned distribution would not be limited to rice. Neri said they also had adult diapers for senior citizens and intended to add Babyflo products and other basic necessities.
“May mga adult diapers din kami para sa seniors, at magdadagdag na rin kami ng Babyflo products at ilang essentials.. lalo na’t hindi na rin madali para sa ilan sa kanila ang lumabas at mamili.”
Her post highlighted how the assistance from Team Kiko would effectively be passed on to several groups within their community. Instead of keeping the additional supplies solely for their own household, Neri and her family chose to turn the unexpected abundance into an opportunity to help others.
Neri specifically thanked Pangilinan, Dalisay and the members of the senator’s team for their willingness to respond whenever she and her family approach them regarding assistance for other people.

She also emphasized the speed and generosity with which they have responded to such requests.
