Bianca de Vera is entering a new chapter in her acting career as she prepares for her first Regal Entertainment movie, Ba’t Di Na Lang Tayo, alongside her love team partner Dustin Yu.

The actress has been undergoing workshops with director Jason Paul Laxamana as they prepare for the upcoming project. Bianca expressed excitement over working with Laxamana, particularly because of his hands-on approach and willingness to correct even the smallest details in their performances.
“Sobrang hands on ni Direk. Na-appreciate ko pag kino-correct niya yung mga simpleng delivery (ng dialogue), yung mga nuances.”
Bianca acknowledged that she and Dustin are still developing their skills as young actors and believe that strong direction is important to their growth.

“Kasi bilang isang artista, sobrang baby pa rin namin sa showbiz so kailangan talaga namin ng matinding growth and hindi mangyayari kung walang director na talagang tutok sa ‘yo at magsasabi sa ‘yo na kung ano dapat.”
She added that the experience has made her even more eager to begin filming.
“Yung talagang tututukan ka. So sobrang excited na ako!”
The project also comes after Bianca and Dustin gained attention for their chemistry in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad. According to Bianca, their connection feels natural because she remains genuinely curious about Dustin even after spending considerable time with him.
“Kasi yung curiosity ko kay Dustin is never ending.”
She explained that she enjoys talking to him, asking questions and simply spending time together, which she believes contributes to the kilig audiences see between them.
“As in everyday, I’m always excited to talk to him, ask him questions, make him kulit.”
Bianca also described their friendship as something that continues to develop, saying that getting to know each other remains an ongoing process.
“It’s a never-ending process of getting to know each other, which is such a blessing.”
Despite their growing popularity as a pair, Bianca said she and Dustin have remained grounded by staying focused on their passion for acting rather than allowing fame to change their attitudes.
“Well, I think kasi yung pagiging grounded namin comes with humility. And hunger, I think.”
She said both of them remain eager to improve because they genuinely want to pursue their craft for the long term.
“Because both Dustin and I, parang lagi kaming gutom in a way na ayaw naming tumigil.”
Bianca further praised Dustin for maintaining the same attitude he had when they were inside the PBB house. She said she has never seen him become arrogant or treat people differently because of his growing career.
“Mas lalo pa akong namangha sa kanya.”
For Bianca, Dustin’s character becomes even more apparent when the cameras are no longer focused on them. She said he continues to treat production staff and other people with the same respect he showed while inside the reality show.
“Because kung gaano humble sa loob ng PBB, ganun pa rin outside.”
She added that they constantly remind each other to treat everyone equally, emphasizing kindness and humility as important values as their careers continue to grow.
“Everything just always comes with kindness and humility.”
