In an episode of “i-Listen” hosted by Kara David, Bianca recalled how she chose to prioritize Samantha’s schooling instead of pursuing her own plans. Now that her cousin has graduated, the actress is considering taking the next step in her education.
Among her options are studying interior design at a design school or pursuing a degree at a university. Although she has yet to decide which path to take, Bianca said she is excited about the possibility of becoming a student again.
“I have two choices. Either I go to a design school for interior design, or I’m also looking into a big university. Pero hindi pa po ako decided sa kung ano talaga, but yes, I’m excited to study,” said Bianca.

Bianca also shared that supporting Samantha’s education was her way of paying forward the love and assistance she received from her grandmother, Vicky. She said she would have wanted the two of them to study at the same time if she had the financial means, but recognized that education comes with significant expenses.
The actress also expressed her belief that there is no age limit to pursuing education, emphasizing that people can still choose to study regardless of when they begin.
Bianca finished senior high school in 2019. She was raised by her grandmother after her mother died when she was five years old, while her father passed away five years later.

During his interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Ruru Madrid reflected on his past with Bianca Umali, admitting that he was unfaithful at 20 while acknowledging that his age was not an excuse. He believes that people who have cheated can still change, turn their lives around, and make better choices. Their eight-month separation helped him realize Bianca’s importance in his life before they eventually reconciled. Ruru said his faith and love for Bianca now give him stronger reasons to remain faithful.
In the same interview, Ruru sweetly referred to Bianca as the “batas” of his life, saying he has embraced the “happy wife, happy life” mindset. He clarified that his recent playful social media caption described his pregnant sister Rere as “buntis,” Kai as his “bayaw,” and Bianca as his “batas.” Ruru added that Bianca already knew she had the “batas” role in his life even before he posted the caption online.
