During his interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, August 4, Ruru explained the meaning behind the caption he used for a recent post featuring his sister Rere Madrid, who is pregnant, and her husband, basketball player Kai Sotto.
Host Boy Abunda brought up the caption, which referred to the people in the post using three words beginning with the letter “B.”
“Tatlong ‘B’ nung nabasa ko 'yung post... Double date with buntis, bayaw at batas,” Boy said.

Ruru then explained that the caption came together naturally because of the people included in the photo, particularly his pregnant sister and brother-in-law.
“Actually, parang hindi ko hindi ko in-expect na parang gano'n pala 'yung magiging caption ko doon, 'di ba? Pero sobrang sakto kasi si buntis, tapos si bayaw. Sabi ko, itong si Bianca talaga, siya talaga ang batas. Siya ang batas ng buhay ko. Hindi pa naman din kami kasal ni Bianca, pero pina-practice ko na 'yung 'yung happy wife, happy life.”
Ruru’s description of Bianca as the “batas ng buhay” adds a playful touch to his public expressions of affection for his longtime girlfriend.
“Anong reaksyon ni Bianca nung nabasa? 'Batas pala ako.'” Boy asked.
Ruru responded that Bianca was already aware of the meaning behind the term even before he posted it, suggesting that calling her the “law” of his life was not something he came up with only for the social media post.
“Alam naman niya 'yun. Bago ko pa i-post 'yun, 'yun na talaga!”
