Dennis Trillo shared how he maintains his loyalty to his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, and revealed how he responds when someone tries to flirt with him.

During his interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, August 10, Dennis and host Boy Abunda discussed his relationship with Jennylyn, including how committed he is to her and how he handles attention from other people.
When Boy asked Dennis how loyal he is to Jennylyn after years of being together, the actor said he considers himself completely loyal to his wife. He also pointed out that he does not want to create additional problems in their relationship.
“Siguro sa tagal namin magkasama ni Jen, mula noon hanggang ngayon, parang wala naman kayong narinig na naging problema tungkol sa mga ganyan. So siguro sabihin ko talagang 100% loyal. And ayoko nang magkaroon ng iba pang problema kung magloloko man ako. Hindi ko naman ma-afford 'yun sa dami ng ginagawa.”

Boy then connected Dennis’ loyalty in his personal life to his commitment as an actor, noting how seriously he approaches every role he takes. He asked whether Dennis had ever given Jennylyn a reason to become seriously jealous.
Dennis explained that he intentionally avoids actions that could make his wife question his intentions, saying he wants Jennylyn to feel secure and have peace of mind in their marriage.
“Ayoko na siyang bigyan ng mga dahilan para magselos unang-una, Tito Boy. Kumbaga, sinisiguro ko na lahat ng kilos ko, alam mo 'yun, hindi niya pag-iisipan ng kahit na ano. Gusto ko secured 'yung utak niya, meron siyang peace of mind na, ‘Oh, kahit may gawing eksena na ganito, secured pa rin siya sa asawa.’”
Boy then brought up Dennis’ appeal and asked what he does whenever someone flirts with him. Dennis said he simply chooses not to acknowledge the attention.
“Ah, hindi ko lang pinapansin, Tito Boy.”
When Boy asked whether Dennis had actually experienced people approaching him and trying to get his attention, the actor confirmed that it had happened.
“Nangyari na rin po.”
Asked what he did in those situations, Dennis explained that he does not dwell on the attention. While he admitted that a person could initially feel flattered, he said thinking about the possible consequences of making a wrong decision reminds him that such situations are not for him.
“Hindi ko masyadong iniisip. Siguro, sa umpisa mapa-flatter ka. Pero kung iisipin mo 'yung mga consequences na mangyayari kapag meron kang hindi magandang ginawa, kumbaga, doon pa lang, alam ko na na hindi para sa akin. Ayoko na ng gulo.”
Boy agreed with Dennis’ perspective, pointing out that knowing where one stands makes it easier to make the right choice.
Dennis ended the exchange by emphasizing the importance of being content, honest, and loyal in a relationship.
“At alam mo kung kuntento ka at alam mo 'yun, honest at loyal.”
