Actress and celebrity mommy Angelica Panganiban has given an update about her illness called avascular necrosis, which she described last November by saying:

“Avascular necrosis is bone death, namatay na 'yung bones ko sa aking balakang kaya pala hirap na ako maglakad. Talagang 'yung mobility ko hindi nasosolusyunan, kahit pa ano'ng gawin kong strengthening."

In a new YouTube vlog episode, Angelica shared that she felt severe pain and difficulty walking after bonding with her daughter Amila Sabine at her school and at a park.

According to Angelica, her condition has limited her physical capabilities, sharing that from her usual 10,000 steps, the number of steps she could take in a single walk has gone down to 1,000.

"It's a very productive day for me and Bean. Ang ending ay sobrang hurt ang hips. Ika-ika na ako maglakad.

"Mayroon na talagang limit 'yung hips ko, legs ko, likod ko. Parang ilang steps lang siya. Noon nakaka 10,000 steps ako. Ngayon, suwerte na kapag naka 1,000 steps ako,” she revealed.

However, Angelica is still hoping to recover and avoid a possible hip replacement surgery in the future.

"Kakaloka, pero sana magtuloy-tuloy ang recovery ko dahil iniiwasan natin magkaroon ng hip replacement,” she said.

Amidst her ordeal, Angelica expressed her trust in God, expressing her belief that everything happens for a reason.
