Snooky Serna is a proud mom of her 2 grown-up daughters who are responsible enough to focus on their careers instead of prioritizing their love life.
The eldest, Samantha who is 24 and Sachi the youngest who is 21 do not have boyfriends.
Though her 2 daughters are not into showbiz, KAMI learned from PEP that Snooky is still proud of them with their chosen field.
“Hats off ako sa mga anak ko kasi they know how to live their life and have wonderful careers.
“Hindi man sila sumunod sa yapak namin ng dad nilang si Ricardo na naging mga artista, they are happy sa trabaho nila ngayon.
“Kung tutuusin, nasa tamang edad na sila to get into a relationship, di ba?
“Kapag tinatanong ko naman sila kung may boyfriends na ba sila, they would answer na wala pa.
Snooky also added that her daughters are already starting to build a good path with their respective careers.
She also noticed that her daughters, as millenials are more focused on money-making opportunities.
"Focused sila na magpayaman."
“Madali na kasing mag-start ng sarili mong career online.
“They can create their own business kahit nasa bahay lang sila.
“I just can’t help to compare them sa generation namin."
The Kapuso actress who was born 1966 and considered as one of the baby boomers said that her generation was more focused on their love life before.
“Kami kasing mga tinatawag nilang mga Baby Boomers, mas inuna pa namin yata ang love life!
“I have to be honest, madali kaming ma-in love noon.
“Madali kaming ma-flatter sa mga magandang pinapakita ng leading man namin noon.
“I guess, masyado lang mababaw ang generation namin.
“Madali kaming ma-sway sa mga little things na pinapakita ng manliligaw namin.
“Ngayon kasi, ang mga bata hindi na basta nadadala sa paligaw-ligaw.
“Kailangan magka-level kayo sa lahat ng bagay.
Meanwhile, Snooky also shared that she is very much happy the love of her life for two-years now, former Bulacan Vice Governor Ramon Villarama.
One thing that Ramon taught me is how to handle my finances.
“I admit na kalat ako when it comes to money.
“But with him around, natuto akong mag-ipon and to think twice or thrice bago ako gumastos sa isang bagay.
“Tinuruan din niya akong to invest my money wisely.
“Ngayon, may pinasok ako na business na pinagdarasal ko na maging successful,” she added.
Samantha and Sachi are daughters of Snooky and actor Ricardo Cepeda.
In an interview, Snooky revealed that she is not friends with ex-husband Ricardo Cepeda.
The two had a controversial separation last 2005.
