A local bakeshop in the Philippines has recently caught the attention of netizens after they turned President Rodrigo Duterte's rice cake into an actual cake.

On Tuesday, March 30, KAMI learned that Nicely Baked Manila, a bakeshop from Pasig, posted their own version of Pres. Duterte's 'rice cake' on social media.

Their post, which garnered over 16,000 likes and 9,000 shares, elicited hilarious responses from netizens.

In their online post, Nicely Baked Manila wrote, "Simpleng cake para sa mga simpleng handaan. We humbly present our own version of rice cake — legit na cake hindi legit na rice."

They also hilariously added, "Steal tatay’s look during his 76th birthday with this literal na rice cake, at least ito pang-celebrate lang ng birthday hindi pang yumao."

It can be worth noting that on March 28, Pres. Duterte celebrated his 76th birthday with a simple meal which trended all over social media.
