A program called Pinoy MD outlined some of the immunity-boosting fruits that could be found in the country.
Dr. Ma. Veritas Luna, in GMA's report, stated that the dalanghita contains a chock-full of antioxidants, which helps in stimulating blood cells to fight off infection.
These fruits are also full of Vitamin A and potassium. The chico has a lot of dietary fiber and could help in strengthening the digestive system.
It also has lots of Vitamins A and C and fights off free radicals. In addition to these, WebMD also noted that getting sufficient amounts of Vitamin D can help prevent a severe case of COVID-19. Vitamin D is the sunshine vitamin, although some could also make use of vitamin D supplements.
