Ara Mina finally breaks her silence on arrest of Deborah Sun in her condo unit

Ara Mina finally opened up about the arrest of Deborah Sun in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City, in an interview with PUSH (authored by Leo Bukas).
The arrest took place at Ara’s condo unit at the New York Mansion. Ara has allowed Deborah to live in her condo unit in order to help her. However, she had no idea that drug deals were taking place in the unit.
“Nagulat ako when I found out. Madaming tumawag sa akin nung Monday. Pero so far wala naman akong nababalitaan ng ganon kay Tita Debs simula nung tumira sya sa condo ko.
“Never akong umakyat don simula nung tumira sya don. Hanggang sa baba lang ako pag may inaabot akong tulong sa kanya or inuutos ko pag need na nila talaga kasi nagtetext naman siya sakin pag walang wala talaga sila.
“Pero bihira ako magbigay ng cash sa kanya. If may cash naman, maliit na amount lang, pangbaon ng anak niya sa school at pamasahe, the rest grocery pa minsan minsan lang,” she explained.

Ara also gave her theory on why Deborah went back to life of drugs.
“Honestly di ako galit kay Tita Debs, naaawa lang ako pati sa family niya. Kasi di na din siya nabibigyan ng project kaya hirap na hirap siya sa buhay ngayon. Kung kaya ko lang tulungan lahat at kung sobrang yaman ko binigyan ko na sila ng pangkabuhayan.
“Dati gusto niya mag-waitress sa akin, kaso nahihiya naman ako pagtrabahuhin pa siya, para daw makabayad daw siya sa pagpapatira ko sa kanila.
“In fairness kay Tita Debs, di naman siya abusado sa akin, lagi pa nga siya nagpapadala sa akin ng mga verses at words of wisdom pati sa mommy ko,” Ara said.
