The stabbing of Larry Rosales, a 57-year-old barangay captain in San Pablo, Laguna was caught on CCTV. He was stabbed by Pablito Hernandez, his godson.
KAMI learned that as per the investigation of police officers, jealousy was the motive behind the stabbing incident, which took the life of the barangay captain.
There were reports that circulated that the barangay captain was stabbed because he refused to give a quarantine pass and a social amelioration card.
This, however, was refuted by the daughter of the victim through a fiery post:
As per GMA-7's report, the suspect even did the traditional "mano" on the victim outside the barangay hall since the latter was his godfather or ninong.
When the victim went inside the hall, the suspect came after him and started stabbing him.
Those who responded and tried to help the barangay captain were also chased by the suspect.

In a previous report by KAMI, the government faced problems when they imposed the initial community quarantine, which was elevated into the now ongoing enhanced community quarantine. It also suspended transportation causing massive problems with commuters.
