Star Magic talent Jane de Leon has recently buzzed the online community after ABS-CBN announced that she has been casted as the new ‘Darna’ this week, June 17, 2019.

It can be recalled that Jane first made headlines after portraying the role of Jericho Rosales’s sister in the prime time hit series of ABS-CBN's ‘Halik.’

However, KAMI learned that Jane’s old photos have recently gone viral on social media platforms.

Jane's old photos from way back 2013, showed her audition photos for Innovision Entertainment Production’s Teen Supermodel.

The said photos were shared by entertainment site, Fashion Pulis.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Jane de Leon was named today as the new “Darna." She was chosen based on the criteria cited by Olivia Lamasan. The actress immediately reacted after hearing the good news.

Jane de Leon used to be a member of the girl group Girltrends, which regularly performs on “It’s Showtime.” She also appeared on high-profile projects such as “Halik” and “La Luna Sangre.”
