Mika Salamanca is taking a careful approach to her growing connection with Will Ashley, revealing that she is still waiting for God's guidance before deciding whether to accept the actor's courtship.

In an interview with GMA News, the two personalities were asked about their relationship and whether their increasingly close bond had already developed into a romantic partnership.
Mika made it clear that she had not given Will a positive response yet. However, her remarks suggested that she remained open to the possibility of becoming his girlfriend.
“Hindi pa.”

The actress answered with a laugh before turning to Will to ask whether he was still willing to pursue her.
“Kayang kaya,” Will confidently responded.
When asked what would help her make up her mind, Mika explained that she was waiting for a sign from God that would give her the confidence to move forward.
“Hinihintay ko? Siguro 'yung ibibigay sa akin na go signal ng Panginoon. Kasi mararamdaman mo po 'yun,” she shared.
The Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition Kapuso Big Winner also disclosed that she already had a specific sign in mind. However, she opted not to reveal it, joking that Will might attempt to make it happen if he knew what she was looking for.
Beyond waiting for divine guidance, Mika explained that she was also considering the seriousness of entering another relationship. She emphasized that she no longer wanted to experience another failed romance and hoped that her next partner would be someone she could build a lasting future with.
“Siyempre...tumatanda na tayo. Ang next na magiging ka-partner ko gusto ko [siya] na. Kasi pagod na po ako. Pagod na akong masaktan. Pagod na akong mag-fail,” she said.
She further revealed that finding the right person had been part of her prayers, expressing her desire to have a relationship that would eventually lead to a lifelong commitment.
“Kaya pinapanalangin ko talaga sa Panginoon [na] 'Kung may ibibigay ka Panginoon na next na tao sa akin, ibigay mo na 'yung tama. Ibigay mo na 'yung talagang makakasama ko',” she added.
Meanwhile, their growing closeness has not gone unnoticed by their colleagues. Vince Maristela, who works with them, shared his observations about the pair's interactions whenever they are on set.
“Ang masasabi ko lang, kapag nagta-taping [kami], napapa-'Sana all' na lang ako,” Vince said, teasing the two about their sweetness.
Will had previously addressed the status of his relationship with Mika during his October 16 interview with Boy Abunda. At the time, he clarified that they were still getting to know each other through courtship rather than being in an official relationship.
“Hindi pa, wala pa. Parang ano pa lang talaga, ligawan. Nandun pa kami sa ini-enjoy pa lang talaga namin eh sa ngayon 'yung mga nangyayari sa mga buhay namin,” he said.
The actor also recalled that he had initially wanted to pursue Mika but acknowledged that circumstances prevented them from taking that step at the time. Both had responsibilities and individual careers to prioritize, and he chose to respect her decision when she turned him down.
“Talagang hindi lang in-allow ng panahon 'yung gusto ko that time, that very moment kasi nga marami pa kaming kailangan gawin and ni-respect ko talaga naman 'yun kasi nga meron kaming mga iba't ibang careers, hindi naman kami magksama, sa PBB lang talaga,” he stated.
Eventually, Will found the opportunity to ask Mika if he could court her once again. He explained that the experiences and challenges they encountered helped them develop a deeper connection and become more familiar with each other.
“Nagsabi ako ulit sa kanya na puwede ako ulit manligaw? Puwede ba ako ulit mag-try kasi ang dami na rin naming napagdaan. Kumbaga sa dami ng mga dumating na problema sa amin iyon 'yung naging way para mas maging close kami talaga at mas makilala namin 'yung isa't isa,” he remarked.
The two first became close as housemates on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. Their friendship continued even after leaving the reality show, eventually leading Will to pursue Mika again.
For now, the actor remains determined to win her heart, while Mika continues to take her time before making a decision about their possible future together.
