Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Avengers series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sustained severe injuries while plowing snow at Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada last January 1.

According to Deadline, Jeremy sustained blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries that required surgery. After the operation, the actor — who is in critical but stable condition — was placed in the ICU as he recovers.

In an article by TMZ, the Avengers star reportedly lost a lot of blood in the accident, where his leg was supposedly ran over by his plowing machine.
