Chavit Singson, nag-offer ng P5M kay Carlos Yulo at sa pamilya nito: "Nakikiusap ako"

Chavit Singson has recently made headlines after offering to give P5 million pesos to Carlos Yulo and his family should they reconcile.

In a video that was posted on his official Facebook page, Chavit said he's not giving the P5M because Carlos won gold at the Olympics.

According to Chavit, he is giving it for the sake of Carlos and his family actually reconciling.

"Para lang magsama-sama silang mag-pamilya, magbibigay ako ng P5 milyon. Hindi sa panalo niyang gold, more on sa pamilya," he said.

He also pointed out that the issue with Carlos and his mom are still being settled, but that he is sure that Carlos and his dad will be okay.

"Ang sigurado, si Carlos Yulo at yung tatay, yung pamilya nila. Yung nanay ang kinakausap pa kasi masama ang loob nung bata kasi may away ata noong nakaraan," Singson said.

He then aired his pleas to Carlos and his family, saying if they are happy, then he will be happy.

"Nakikiusap ako... maligaya kayong pamilya, maligaya na rin ako. Kaya magbibigay ako ng P5 milyon sa pamilya niyo kung mapatawad ninyo ang isa't isa," he said.

In the said video, he was asked by reporters if he is aware of the rumors years ago about a romantic involvement with Yen Santos. Chavit paused and then smiled after hearing the question. He then cryptically replied “Itanong niyo na lang kay Paolo” or “Just ask Paolo.”

Meanwhile, Chavit Singson lit social media ablaze with his latest exploit in the town of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur where he is the local chief executive. Just like a scene from a movie, the mayor handed out wads of peso bills in a very unique manner. He used what appeared to be a unique mechanism to hand out cash.
