Dianne Medina fired back at a basher who accused her of being a "sawsawera." Medina previously wrote a Facebook post about an unnamed actress who spat upon her co-actress in a scene. This post fueled rumors about the issue.
Kylie Verzosa, Maxine's co-star in Los Bastardos, got bashed immensely because of the issue. However, she owned up to spitting Maxine in one of their confrontation scenes. According to her, she got carried away by the scene.
This was followed by an interview of Maxine and Kylie announcing that they patched things up already.
On one of Dianne's Facebook post, a netizen lectured her and accused her of being a "sawsawera." The netizen also called her a starlet.

Dianne replied and said, "Ako ba talaga ba nakikisawsaw o ikaw? Isipin mo!" She also shared a picture of the commenter on the comment section of her post.
Dianne thanked another netizen who expressed support for her.
