Japeth Aguilar’s wife Cassandra Naidas-Aguilar has given birth to their firstborn.

The former beauty queen took to social media to announce the good news.
In an Instagram post, Cassandra posted heartwarming photos showing their baby named Jasiah Matthias.
Cassandra gave birth to the baby boy on February 2, 2022.

In the caption, the celebrity mom gushed over her son, “He’s the most beautiful person we’ve ever seen but we’re probably a little biased. After months of treatments, scares and bedrest, I’m so glad to meet my little boy. Up until the last minute, there were no dull moments.”
She likewise thanked God for the safe and successful birth.
“So grateful to God for a safe delivery and a healthy baby boy.”

Japeth Aguilar plays as the star forward for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel team in the PBA. He is also a member of the Gilas Pilipinas national team. His father, Peter Aguilar, was a former PBA player as well. Japeth tied the knot with Cassandra Naidas in a simple civil ceremony in October 2019.
In October 2021, Cassandra shared some good news on social media. She published a heartwarming post to announce that she's pregnant with her and the basketball star’s first child. She posted a photo of her together with Japeth holding her baby bump. In the caption, she asked her followers to pray for her as she has “some conditions that make this pregnancy high risk”.
In a previous report by KAMI, Japeth gave a surprise to Cassandra and it was caught on video. At the NAIA Terminal 3, the basketball star made his wedding proposal to his longtime girlfriend. Cassandra got emotional and accepted her beau’s proposal.
