While Shawie did not drop any name, her speech appear to allude to the controversial local chief executive.
The actress said that some people are trying to convince VP Leni to withdraw her bid to become the next president of the republic.
“Pinawi-withdraw pa nga si Ma’am Leni. Hindi ko makuha ang logic ni Mayor. Hindi ko talaga makuha,” Sharon told the crowd that gathered for the rally.
She then asked from what planet did that logic come from, adding that the mayor gave them a beautiful Easter gift.
In a recent press conference with other presidential candidates at the Manila Peninsula, Mayor Isko asked VP Leni Robredo to make the supreme sacrifice and withdraw her presidential bid.
Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent and veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She already expressed her intent to retire from showbiz.
