Authorities said the second suspect drove the motorcycle used in their escape. Among the items taken were the girl’s sling bag, various clothes, and the shop’s earnings.

The victim did not immediately report the incident because she was afraid. Police said the matter was brought to their attention the following day.

“Hindi po agad nakapag-report yung victim dahil natakot silang baka balikan sila. Kinabukasan na po sila lumapit sa substation 6,” the officer explained.

Following the complaint, investigators conducted follow-up operations. They retraced the suspects’ route and asked people in the area for information that could help locate the pair.

“Nagtanong-tanong din po tayo sa area hanggang sa matukoy po natin kung saan sila nakatira,” the officer said.

That effort led police to a house in Barangay Pinagsama, also in Taguig. According to the officer, the suspects were inside and preparing to leave when authorities found them.

Police also located the motorcycle allegedly used as their getaway vehicle at the house. The report said investigators recovered the stolen bags and clothes during the operation.
