Pinuntahan nila.

The victim was not a resident of the barangay. Authorities said the alleged gunman lives in a neighboring barangay and works at an air-conditioning repair shop.

Muñoz said police were able to identify the suspect after immediately tracing his identity through inquiries in the area.

Napagtanung-tanungan diyan, nakilala siya,” Muñoz said.

Barangay 205 Kagawad Ramil Mamangon said the suspect buys second-hand appliances for a living and had allegedly experienced repeated theft of vehicle parts.

The victim had reportedly only recently been released from prison after serving time for a theft-related offense.
