According to a report aired on Balitanghali, mall personnel and police officers worked together to rescue and assist the child after the accident happened.
Authorities said the boy had been running before he reached the escalator. It was there that his hand reportedly became trapped, resulting in minor injuries.
The child was immediately brought to a hospital for treatment. Fortunately, authorities later confirmed that he is now in good condition.
