A man was killed after he was allegedly attacked by his own compadre while broadcasting live on Facebook outside his home in Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City. The incident was reported in a news segment of Unang Balita.

The victim was reportedly doing laundry outside his residence in Silverio Compound on the afternoon of May 28 when the suspect suddenly appeared. Moments later, the man was allegedly attacked in full view of viewers who were watching the live video.

According to the report, the victim tried to evade the attack. The footage allegedly showed the suspect continuing the assault even after dropping one of the weapons and retrieving another before fleeing the area. Despite his injuries, the victim was still able to stand and walk for a short distance before collapsing.

The victim's cousin recalled the painful experience of witnessing the incident through the Facebook Live stream.

"Pagtingin namin sa live share doon talaga namin nakita. Grabe, sobrang sakit. Wala siyang awa nang sinaksak 'yung pinsan ko."

The relative said the family continues to struggle in accepting what happened to their loved one.

The victim has since been laid to rest while the family awaits the official autopsy findings. Based on information relayed to them by doctors, the victim's fatal injury may have been a stab wound that reportedly reached the heart. Authorities have yet to release the official autopsy report.

Following the incident, Parañaque police launched a hot pursuit operation that led to the arrest of the 34-year-old suspect in Barangay Singkamas, Makati City.

Investigators said the suspect and the victim were compadres and had allegedly been involved in previous disputes. Police also noted that the two were once neighbors and that earlier conflicts between them may not have been fully resolved. A knife believed to have been used in the crime was recovered at the scene and is now part of the investigation.

The suspect has yet to issue an official statement regarding the allegations. Meanwhile, a relative of the suspect reportedly expressed sympathy for the victim's family and said they are willing to cooperate with authorities.

"Handa naman po kaming magbigay kung ano pong makakayanan namin. Nakikiramay po kami kasi kilala naman po namin 'yung tao."

The suspect is currently under the custody of the Parañaque City Police Station and is expected to face a murder complaint. Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the fatal attack.

Investigators uncovered forensic evidence and bloodstains within the residence that the suspect occupied with the deceased. Local police are currently conducting a deeper inquiry to determine the specific reasons behind this violent act.
