A female vendor in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur was allegedly robbed of her necklace by a customer who became upset after failing to complete a purchase, according to a report aired by GMA Regional TV.

The incident happened while the vendor was arranging items outside her store. Based on the report, a man wearing a helmet approached her and attempted to buy an item. However, the transaction did not push through because the vendor reportedly had no change for the suspect's ₱500 bill.

Instead of leaving immediately, the man allegedly continued insisting that she sell him the item. Moments later, he suddenly grabbed the necklace being worn by the vendor before fleeing the area. The stolen necklace was estimated to be worth around ₱30,000.

According to the victim's child, the suspect repeatedly pressured the vendor to proceed with the sale before the theft occurred. The unexpected turn of events shocked the family and prompted them to seek help from authorities.
The case was featured in a spot report by journalist Al Domingo on GMA Regional TV's news segment. Authorities have since launched a manhunt operation to identify and arrest the suspect. As of the report's airing, the man had not yet been apprehended.
