According to a report by John Consulta on GTV News’ "Balitanghali" on Monday, the robbery took place on Thursday just as the victim arrived in front of her residence. CCTV footage showed an armed man approaching the doctor and confronting her outside her home.
The suspect then forcibly demanded the victim’s bag. Despite the doctor’s attempts to hold on to her belongings, she was eventually forced to surrender the bag to the assailant. The suspect immediately fled the scene with an accomplice who was waiting on a motorcycle.
Police investigators later reviewed the footage and gathered information that helped identify the individuals involved. Authorities said the suspects’ alleged modus operandi was to roam around areas looking for potential victims, with women reportedly being their usual targets.
