Two male victims were killed after being shot by riding-in-tandem suspects along Timog Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

The victims were inside a white car when the attack happened near the corner of EDSA at around 3 p.m., according to a report aired on Saksi GMA News.
Based on video footage, one of the suspects got off the motorcycle and approached the vehicle. He then fired multiple shots at the occupants before quickly returning to the motorcycle driven by his accomplice. The suspects immediately fled toward EDSA after the shooting.
Authorities confirmed that the victims were a 51-year-old driver and his 75-year-old companion. Both sustained multiple gunshot wounds during the incident.

When responders arrived at the scene, the driver was found outside the vehicle after apparently attempting to escape. He collapsed near the center island. The passenger, on the other hand, was initially found inside the car and was still conscious while being assisted by responders.
The two victims were rushed to East Avenue Medical Center. However, both were later declared dead.
Investigators observed several bullet holes in the windshield and sides of the vehicle. Spent bullet casings and a magazine were also recovered from the crime scene.
Police have yet to determine the relationship between the two victims. Authorities are also working to identify the suspects and establish the motive behind the attack.
The Quezon City Police District has already formed a special investigation team. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage and gathering statements from witnesses to aid in the investigation.
In the report, journalist Emil Sumangil said that no bystanders were reported injured during the shooting.
Police assured the public that follow-up operations are ongoing as they continue efforts to track down the suspects.
