Medical findings from the Midsalip Regional Health Unit revealed that the man suffered a heart attack. The report stated that the cause of death was “myocardial infarction secondary to chronic hypertension.”

This indicates that the fatal incident was related to a long-standing condition involving high blood pressure.

No signs of foul play were reported based on the initial assessment of authorities. The condition of the body suggested that the man had been dead for several days before he was found.

The remains were later turned over to his family for proper burial.

The case drew attention due to the circumstances of the discovery, particularly the location of the body near his wife’s grave. While investigators did not confirm his exact reason for being in the area, the proximity led to speculation that he may have gone there to visit or spend time near his late spouse.

Local officials have not released further details, and the case is currently treated as a natural death based on medical findings.
