Three mothers stole two mobile phones from two government employees in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.

The incident took place on Monday while the victims were waiting for a public utility vehicle on their way to work.

Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the suspects were only forced to commit the crime so they could have money to buy school supplies for their children.

According to the police, bystanders witnessed the suspects carrying out the theft, and one person immediately asked the authorities for help.

The police immediately found the suspects, 2 sisters ages 42 and 39, and their 39 years old friend; all of them are mothers.

It was later revealed that the 42-year-old suspect was already arrested 6 times for theft, while the other two suspects were arrested before for the same crime thrice.

Authorities are still looking for another suspect who managed to escape.

According to the police, the suspects have a group, and they usually operate in Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, and San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Recovered from the suspects were two mobile phones worth 11,000 in total.

Meanwhile, the suspects admitted to committing the crime. They said, they were only forced to do it because of "financial problems."

They initially planned of selling the mobile phones to their neighbors and use the money to buy their kids their school supplies.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
