A 10-wheeler truck sadly plunged off a cliff in Nueva Vizcaya today, June 09.

As reported by ABS-CBN, the truck was loaded with food and school supplies.

In a cellphone video taken by Robelyyn Bermejo, several men were seen trying to rescue two individuals trapped inside the truck's crushed front cabin.

Bermejo mentioned in the video that the rescuers needed a bolt cutter to speed up the rescue, as lives were at serious risk.

The video also showed the scattered rice and school supplies.

Meanwhile, two other passengers of the truck were already rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

Brigada Eskwela is a yearly program in the Philippines led by the Department of Education.

It happens before the start of the school year and encourages parents, teachers, students, and volunteers from the community to work together.

They help clean, repair, and prepare public school classrooms and surroundings.

This program aims to create a safe, clean, and ready environment for learning without waiting for government funds.

It also promotes the spirit of bayanihan or community cooperation, showing that when people work together, they can improve schools and help students have a better place to study.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
